Some years ago, a summer morning, i came into my music workshop whose windows were open over night. A shell i found on a trip along the coastline of the french bretagne hung on the wall of the room. A green moth, who flew in during the night, had taken place next to the shell, obviously in a kind of parallelizing behaviour. Or by chance? Mimikry? Do they, somehow, communicate?
Many thoughts and ideas came in mind this morning. I took a photo of the scenery, never forgot this surprising studio moment and decided to do something with this photo at some point in my life.
Since two years, since the covid shutdowns, i used to listen to two instrumental songs i worked on over the last 10 years for my own use, fun, sport, life. Both with a latin appearance. I had extended them in time lenght, worked on speed and tuning etc. The four songs that came out had a very relaxing, meditative, mantraesk, repetitive, positive vibe on my psyche and body. Working, dancing, reading, coffee with friends, inner balancing, hanging around looking in the clouds, cleaning... - everything worked well with these songs. Good vibes!
And even though they were actually just songs for my own use, the photo with the moth and the shell came in my mind. So i decided to put them together and release these 2x2 songs and these two animals together, so they won't be forgotten!
